Mon travail est un pont entre la peinture, la photo et les écrans. Une réconciliation, et non une opposition, entre la tradition et la modernité, entre la peinture archaïque et la technologie. Car c’est toujours la même chose qui me pousse à peindre: montrer la fulgurance de la vie, de l’existence et dire tous les artifices, toutes les interfaces et les mensonges qu’il nous faut pour entrapercevoir, le temps suspendu d’un éclair, ce qu’est le Réel.

 

 

 

My body of work is a bridge between painting, photography, and screens.

As a reconciliation and not an opposition, between tradition and modernity, the missing link between the old-fashioned painting and new technologies.

I’m always driven by the same muse when I create and paint: the desire to show the fleeting nature of life and existence; to highlight all the tricks, gimmicks, interfaces and lies which are ultimately necessary for us to catch a glimpse, if only for a brief second, of what is Reality.
